Into the Midnight Sun: Norway and Scotland with Viking Ocean Cruises July 2019

Next summer, we’re headed to the Land of the Vikings—and we want you to come along! Between July 20 and August 3, Pam will be hosting a group onboard Viking Ocean Cruises’ summer 2019 sailing from Bergen, Norway, to London.

The journey

Departing Bergen, we’ll explore deep-cut fjords along the fabled Norwegian coast, sailing across the Arctic Circle, where the midnight sun shines 24 hours a day. Then we’ll follow in the path of Vikings, from the remote beauty of North Cape to the windswept Shetland and Orkney Islands of Scotland. We’ll visit the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where medieval glory mingles with classic beauty, and wrap up in cosmopolitan London. Along the way, we’ll paddle among soaring fjords, visit striking Norse cathedrals, cruise the Inside Passage, frolic with Shetland ponies, taste Scottish whiskey and fruit wine, visit neolithic stone settlements and much, much more.

Viking’s ocean ships

Viking is relatively new to ocean cruising, but the experience it offers is phenomenal! The Viking Sun carries just 930 guests and is classified as a “small ship”; engineered at a scale that allows direct access into most ports.

Inside, this luxury vessel is designed as an elegant boutique hotel, featuring the understated elegance of modern Scandinavian design. You’ll enjoy beautifully appointed all-veranda staterooms, 24-hour room service, multiple fine-dining options with included beer and wine, a spa and fitness-center, free WiFi and more.

If you prefer a refined, serene ship ambience, with extra time in each port and thoughtfully curated shore excursions, some included with your cruise fare, then Viking Ocean Cruises is for you!

Exclusive deal!

Veranda cabins start at just $6,999 per person. The Art of Vacationing guests receive a $125 discount when booking this inclusive cruise. Space is limited, so contact us today to secure your spot!
