The Art of Vacationing was founded in 2008 by Pam Keystone, an expert in the ins-and-outs of using vacation ownership and points-based programs.
Pam purchased her first Marriott Vacation Club ownership week in 1999. She learned very quickly that in order to maximize the benefits of her ownership she would need to master the process of booking, trading and using points. Her knowledge was further enhanced by working for 5 years for Marriott Vacation Club. Through her experiences, Pam heard from numerous owners that they didn't have the time nor the inclination to become proficient at maximizing their timeshare investment. Knowing she had the travel experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the system, she knew she could help.
An extensive world traveler herself, Pam has visited over 40 Marriott Vacation Club properties and many Starwood, Hyatt and Four Seasons Club properties—frequently using her miles for airline seats and points for hotel stays. Her firsthand knowledge of the resorts and locations ensure her clients a vacation that truly meets their needs and expectations. She has traveled extensively in Europe and Asia and always enjoys researching exciting new destinations—as well as the latest trends in travel, such as River Cruising.
In founding the company, Pam’s goal was to create the highest level of travel experience for her clients by tapping into the best that the industry has to offer. This is why The Art of Vacationing is a member of The Affluent Traveler Collection, an elite group of travel advisers. Through this affiliation, The Art of Vacationing is able to extend exclusive offers and value-added benefits offered by premium cruise lines and travel suppliers to its clients.
“The Art of Vacationing is unique,” says Pam. “Our mission is to show our clients how to save money by using points or timeshare stays whenever possible to offset travel costs. No other Travel Advisers offer these unique services and we are proud to stand alone in offering these value-added services to our clients.”
Pam is helping us see the world, much more easily and cost effectively than we ever thought possible. She is a fabulous resource and critical to our vacation planning success.
